When do newborn infants stop looking like “generic squishy newborn” and more like a unique baby?

Most newborn babies look pretty much the same, at least in the very beginning.
When do they start looking like mommy/daddy, or a least, like an individual?
Know what I mean?

After a couple of days they usually dont look so puffy and odd shaped but they dont really start to get really cute until a couple of weeks old…
my son changed looks by about 2-3weeks, he looked like a little gorilla baby, now he looks like a monkey, he is so cute.
Congrats on your baby…my daughter was born 12-24-07.
I know what you mean…I would say they look like an individual around 2.5-3 months. However, she has always looked like her dad.
My baby stopped looking squishy after about 3 weeks. He started to look more like me at that point and still looks like me now. He’s 12 weeks.

My daughter started getting more defined features about 3 weeks after she was born. As for being able to see distinguishable mommy/daddy features it might not happen for awhile; I’d say 2 or 3 months. But even if you see “daddy’s nose” at 2 months it could evolve in to more of a “mommy’s nose” by the third.
mine was born really early only 2lbs 11 oz, but never really looked like a squishy newborn.

I am going to be honest. They look really disturbing at first, then they smear that antibacterial gel on there eyes. The first 48 hours your so over joyed and excited you completely over look how scary,puffy and alien like they look.
Around 1 month old, after some weight gain they become adorable.
Mine didn’t. We were expecting a little rinckled face and body, but she already looked like an older baby. She’s so pretty!
I went to see my neighbours baby a few days after she was born and she looked like a little tiny version of her daddy! So cute!
