My baby is 4 months old and seems to be in alot of pain from teething. She cries alot now and other than the teething she use to be a really happy baby. Can I please get some suggestions? Someone told me rubbing crown royal on her gums with my finger would relieve her pain, but I don’t know.

give her a cool wet cloth to chew on. trust me I rely on having a cloth for my baby, he cant go a day without chewing on one. p.s. i watch my child closely all the time cause thats what mommys do
other than bonjela, and loads of cuddles ther is not much you can do for her, people say a bit of brandy on your finger helps, but i never dared do it for my own, loads of love helps most
They have toys that are filled with gel that you can freeze. They usually really like chewing on those. There is no chance of it breaking off and creating a choking hazard.
I’m sorry but I do not agree that a washcloth is a good idea. I think that a choking or suffocation situation is possible with that. If you use that option I would recommend watching your child closely.
I have heard the one about rubbing rum on the baby’s gums also I don’t reccomend this. You can get some baby oragel to rub on her gums and give her the proper dose of tylenol. The oragel will numb her gums for a little while and thetylenol will help with the pain. Get her a toy that she can bite down on that has rubber around it, or those water filled rings.
rub her gums with a little calgel and give her teething toys which have been frozen, the hardness and coldness will help to relieve her discomfort and help the teeth to come through.
In the baby section the have crew toys that are filled with water. Put it in the freezer over night and give it to you baby when she cries. The cold will numb the pain. You can also try Origel that is good too.
Good luck.
Try some Tylenol or ibuprofen, in liquid form. Check with your doctor for dosage amount. This worked well for my four kids. Also, a frozen wet washrag for them to gnaw on. None ever choked or suffocated.
well you could get some baby orajel, or you could buy a teething ring and place it in the fridge to make it cold and then give it to the baby. you could also wet a washcloth and put it in the freezer and let your baby munch on it after. you could also get 100% natural teething tablets. i used them for my second daughter and they seemed to work really well. you can buy them at any wal-mart. another thing you can do is, if you have a little finger brush, you could massage her gums for her. you can get the finger brush at any wal-mart too and it usually comes with a little tube of non flouride tooth paste. in the baby aisle. i wouldn’t recommend using the tooth paste though until she is older. anyways i hope that helps.
well talk to your pediatrician. the baby oragel and teething tablets did not work for my daughter and my doc said i could give her some infant tylonal. go see the doctor before doing this!!! i also had a washcloth, that my daughter chewed on!
teething tablets..they are the best. you can find them in the baby section of any store..they are safe to give and disolve quickly..and they work the best.
Hylands teething tablets are a good fix…and I did use the very cold damp washcloth..works wonders! like anything else make sure you hold your baby while the wahcloth is in her mouth!
I use infant tylenol with my daughter when her teething is very painful, and her new favorate teether is a razberry teether – looks like a pacifier but it’s bumpy and must feel good on her gums because she loves it and she hasn’t like any of the cold teethers I’ve tried. She did chew a little on a frozen washcloth but that only helped for a little while with her.
