Question by Amber M: Spontaneous Projectile Vomiting from a 6 month old puppy?
Great title huh? Its not so great at 3 am 4ft from where he was laying. Herky, my Old English Bulldog puppy of 6 months has been doing this 1-3 times a week. Its not accompanied with any other symptoms; no diarrhea, no odd behavior, no abdomen swelling, nothing at all. He eats Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy, 3 3/4ths a cup, split into two servings. As of today, I’m doing 3 servings, a cup each. I water his food down and make sure its mushy before I give it to him. I’ve given him Pepto Bismal and occasionally rice/boiled chicken after I’ve taken his food and water up for 12 hours. I feed him at 7-7:30am and 6:30-7pm, and like I said, as of today, 1 cup at 12. I’m not noticing any discomfort. We’ve (my fiance’ and I have tried just about everything) taken up edible bones and no more treats/biscuits. I’m completely out of ideas and I don’t want to spend a fortune at the vets office right before the Holidays. Any more suggestions?

Maybe the food isn’t agreeing with him.
If he keeps vomitting the best thing to do would be to take him to the vet.

Question by xxikayixx: 8 month old projectile vomiting?
My boyfriends son came to sleep over last night because his mother’s family has the flu and she didn’t want him to get it. He had a slight cough and a little stuffy/congested but he always has some sort of cold. So he was fine all night, and when he got up this morning he had some coughing and was hard of breathing but he cleaned himself right out with coughing. I fed him his 6am bottle and then he PROJECTILE vomited the ENTIRE THING immediately after I took the bottle out of his mouth. This happened 3 times while he was here. His mother came to get him, and she said thats never happened before. I guess he’s been getting sick all day long. She has been giving him tablespoon of Pedialyte every 15 minutes but he still got sick again. No diarrhea. He is now passed out.. Anyone know of any reason he would be doing this.. FLU possibly?

Probably, but with no fever or diahrea, I would give it a good 48 hours of offering the usual meals and pedialyte before consulting the doctor – although you can call any pediatrician any time for advice.

Earlier this month, my girlfriend had a miscarriage, and now she is 6 days late for her period. Could these two things be related?
