Question by *Alaina* n.k.a. Tiddly Boop!: What to do when a small infant vomits up what they drank?
Let’s say you feed your newborn 4 oz of formula and they threw it all back up shortly after. Do you try to feed them again or wait until their stomach settles?

Feed them again if they seem hungry, stopping about every half ounce to burp them.

Hmm… sounds to me like he might have severe acid reflux. I would try a new hospital! Good luck

Question by : One month old infant projectile vomiting/spitting up?
My 1 month old daughter is bottle fed (Similac Advance) and we have noticed that she has been puking after most of her feedings. She drinks about 2oz of baby formula every 2 hours and I burp her halfway through the bottle and when she finishes and she still continues to vomit. As a new parent, this raises concern for me! I discussed it with her doctor and he told me that it’s completely normal since she has been gaining weight sufficiently. Any advice on this situation? Do you think it’s necessary to switch her formula to one for stomach sensitivity or a soy-based formula?

my son did that on enfamil newborn, he was allergic to it.. i now have him on enfamil prosobee ( soy ) and he just spits up normally.. she may be allergic to the formula.. id try a soy based one and see how she does

My 5 month old daughter wakes up for a feeding every 2 -3 hours. She was exclusively breast fed until about 3 weeks ago when we started giving her rice cereal with her last feeding. She has been on a routine of going to bed around 7pm since she was a few weeks old and she usually wakes up on her own around 7am. However, like I mentioned, she only sleeps for 2-3 hour stretches at night (sometimes she wakes up every hour or so). Once we feed her, we change her and put her right back to bed and she usually goes to sleep quickly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
