Question by : My 8 year old just projectile vomited all over his bed as well as my bathroom wall. He did this after he?
complained of a tummy ache. I am just getting over salmonella but he didn’t eat any of the food I bought at the restaurant. Is it possible for him to catch salmonella from my outbreak?

I don’t think it’s possible, but if he continues to throw up it probably is food poisoning, or something as serious and should go to the hospital or a doctor, soon.

Question by sherry h: 3 week old newborn vomiting after every feeding?
My baby girl is 3 weeks old. I had her on Parents Choice formula ever since she was 5 days old. She was taking it perfect, but now for the last 2 days she has been throwing up all of her milk after her feedings, sometimes projectile vomit. I took her to a doctor but they said keep watch on her and bring her back in 4 days time. Any idea why she is suddenly throwing up from the formula. Also, she started throwing up as soon as i opened a new can of formula (powder). The exp. date is for another year yet but could it possibly be gone bad? I cant really smell anything funny so i dont think it is. What else could be making her sick like this? Please help

My little brother had a problem like this, but it wasn’t due to the formula, it was due to the shape of his mouth. He had something called cleft palate, which you can’t actually see from the outside, that was preventing him from holding the nipple right. something about the airflow? caused him to projectile vomit after feeding. Or, you can change cans of formula and see if that helps.

check with your pharmacist, they could recommend something, but be careful, antihistamines can make you drowsy (Benadryl) and so can pain relievers, so make sure you get something non drowsy like Claritin.

Question by Hand puppet pet: After wide cable coverage, Larry King and Wolf Blitzer, was it necessary to awaken up a sick kid at 4 am for?
an interview on the ‘Today Show’ of balloon boy and family and during the questioning little Falcon got sick and was doing some projectile vomiting, but the commercial break hadn’t come yet, so they went on until Meridith got a cerebral message out of her empty air head to skip off to other news until they could compose and catch the rest of the regurgitation.

There are problems in this family…Looks like the whole thing was “for a show” as little Falcon stated. What are they hoping for? A reality show??
