Sparking water beverages not healthy during pregnancy?

I’ve heard in several places that flavored water beverages aren’t very healthy they contain artificial sweeteners and other components that don’t make it a healthy choice during pregnancy. Has anyone been told by a doc that it is in fact ok/healthy to consume these beverages during pregnancy??
I have a VERY hard time drinking water alone.
Sorry about the run-on-sentence, was a type-o.

Flavored waters aren’t as good as plain water, drink something like fruit2o.
I also had trouble getting enough water, and I only enjoy plain water at dinner time. I went with Vitamin Water; be sure to pick one that has no caffeine in it. They are great, not expensive (but not carbonated) and don’t have high fructose corn syrup in them. Also, they are isotonic which helps the cells retain water. Win-win!
Artificial sweetener is very bad for you. A lot of people have allergies to them. I can’t have even a straw full of diet soda. Stay away from that stuff while you are pregnant. If you miss the soda fizz try seltzer water. It’s zero calories, no artificial sweetener and comes in different flavors.
Those “flavored waters” aren’t very good for you anyway because of the artificial sweeteners and whatnot in them. Why not put some lemon in your water or lemon and mint? It makes it a whole lot easier to drink when there is a little flavor. Good luck!
I would avoid the artificial sweeteners but there are many that don’t have that so just check the labels and go ahead.
Actual sparking water is just water with CO2 in it. Entirely healthy. For flavored seltzers you’d need to read the label. Some have artificial sweetners, others don’t.
Ok, before you take any drastic measures, be sure to consult with your physician.
Alternatives to sparkling water:
1 squeeze a lemon into your water. This is a way to have a refreshing drink without the need for sparkling water.
2 Ice Cold Water is much better than room temp.
3 Iced Tea is a healthy alternative to pop or sparkling water or any other beverage you would want to consume in the summer.
Good luck!
There are some flavored and sparkling waters without sweetener in them Try Polar seltzer water they have orange, pomegranate, lime and other flovors I like them They are YUMMY
No, you should avoid caffeine, artificial sweeteners from diet one, but plain sparkling water or carbonated fruit ones are okay. They may make you gassy, but I have never been told they were bad and Iv done a lot of research on the net bout foods and drinks during pregnancy. I would avoid any ones that have herbal ingredients as some of those are not safe during pregnancy. The actual carbonation is just air.Just be sure you select sparkling water that is sodium free, too much salt is not good. Good luck during your pregnancy.
