let the baby sleep! He will wake up when he’s hungry
If it’s during the day wake him up. and at night let him sleep. keep him on that routine.
feed on demand! he will wake up whens hes ready
I would say no. Sleep to a baby is just as important as eating. Babies will wake up when they are ready to eat.
As long as he does it each day, you can let him sleep. Our oldest daughter did that and it really scared us. Her pediatrician said as long as she’s gaining weight, to let her sleep.
My suggestion is for you to wait until the baby wakes up. Your baby will let you know when he/she is ready to eat.
My mother told me not to wake my son…but my doctor told me not to let him sleep more than 4hrs because they will get dehydrated so i never let him sleep past 4hrs during the day.. he started sleeping through the night at 2 months and i don’t wake him at night!!!!
let him sleep just not more than 5 hours for the first month or so
Wake him every 2-3 hours during the day and every 4-5 hours at night until he is about 3 weeks old. Then follow his cues.
Just my advice, if you intend to continue breastfeeding, I would eliminate the formula feedings at this point as it will make breastfeeding harder and harder (bottles are easier to suck on, the more formula you feed the less milk you will produce).
let him have is own schedule he will wake to eat when he needs too
I breast fed my daughter on demand..I was advised not to do this but I myself found it to be fine..Let the baby sleep..
He will wake up when he is ready to eat.
Best advice I ever got from my mother was let sleeping babies sleep.
You’ll be happier and baby will be happier. He’ll wake up when he is hungry. Bottle fed babies tend to sleep longer than breast fed babies as the formula takes longer to digest.
wake him up
they told me to wake my baby up every 2-3 hours if she doesnt wake up to feed
once their older its okay to let them sleep and let them tell you when they want to eat
but in the hospital they told me that if she didnt wake up to take off her clothe and kinda force her to wake up for food
Unless instructed by a doctor, no. My friends daughter wasn’t gaining weight so she had to, but your son will wake when hungry. Let him sleep, he needs it. He will definitely let you know when he’s hungry. Its good to keep clean bottles by your bed if he sleeps in a bassinet near you so you can just wake and feed.
go ahead and let him sleep unless the pediatrician suggests otherwise (bc of a weight or health issue)
Having met a woman who’s baby slept so much and didn’t eat he ended up in hospital, I think you should wake him every 4 hours to feed him.
Its ok to let them sleep, bt no more than 5 hrs, usually after 5 hrs babies wake up ready to b fed.
I did… I didn’t wait for him to wake up in the daytime to eat. I would feed him every 2 hours in the day and then whenever he wanted to nurse at night.
Some people say that’s bad but I didn’t think it was bad. It worked for us!
