clothbottom.com We have been a little slow to put out some more videos for you on cloth diapers and I thought this would explain it all. June 17, 2011 I (Amy) went in to have a version done on Kash because he was breached. My doctor is amazing (I love Dr. Lyn!) but during the procedure there was a complication with his heart rate and we had an emergency c-section. Everything worked out well Kash was born at 11:06 am Friday the 17th. He weighed in at 5 lbs 10.5 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Not too bad for a baby that was 36 weeks and 2 days. He was a little lighter than Jonas who was 6 lbs and 1 oz. Kash did have some fluid in and around his lungs but after about 4 days in the hospital we returned home where is gaining weight like a champ. In case you were wondering where the name Kash came from let me tell you. My mother’s maiden name is Kash and Jason and I really wanted to have a family name and we just like the sound of the name for a boy. We had talked about the name but were not sure. Wednesday the 15th we were at our appoint with Dr. Lyn and we were telling her the name options. During the procedure she was trying to turn the baby and she said “Come on Kash turn for me!”. After Jason and I were together in recovery we knew that would be the name. As for the middle name, Abraham, we really wanted a Bible name and we both agreed that we loved that name. So there you go that is how our son got his name and this is his first breath. Oh and just in case you were …
Post: richardstep.com ============================== Out little blessing of a baby Clare is here and we’re trying to remember how to do everything again! This won’t be a regular thing… but since it is immediately relevant to us (and I won’t be able to focus on much more for a while lol) I thought I would throw this up here for new parents! The video covers how to feed our newborn baby, how to burp the baby, and overall how to make sure the baby gets the food she needs, feels good about the process, and has an overall lesser chance of being gassy/colic stricken (colicy?) I like to burp the baby every 3/4 to 1 ounce (oz) before continuing on to the next batch of feeding (whether it is breast milk or formula). I’m using Enfamil Infant / newborn formula in this video. Share your ideas in the comments and thanks for watching! ============================== I created this video and have all distribution rights to the video. The music in the video is called “How it Begins” by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) and is licensed under Creative Commons – Attribution 3.0. I have credited the artist at the end of my video and in the video information. ============================== TAGS “how to” “burp a newborn” “burp a baby” burp “feed a baby” “feeding a baby” “newborn baby” infant colic calm symptoms oz ounce “bottle feed” “breast feeding” food formula breastmilk milk colostrum
