I’m six weeks along, and every time I have a slight pain or spotting, I start to wonder if I’m having a miscarriage. Every website says the same thing: these things don’t “always” indicate miscarriage. Well, that means they sometimes do, right?

My first doctor’s appointment isn’t for three weeks, and I’m thinking of buying another test. How soon would it start reading negative if I had miscarried?

Im 13 weeks 2day and just want to know what are the chances of miscarriage happening since im past first trimester?
Im young and healthy so are the chances slim?

Is fertility raised slightly after a miscarriage? When do most couples start trying again?

Well I had what I thought was a miscarriage late saturday evening. It looked like I had started my period and there were no cramps involved. They told me my HCG levels were “normal for 5 weeks” did an ultrasound but they didn’t find anything but they also told me that is normal for 5 weeks. They then did a pelvic exam and I had some blood come out and he said he saw some tissue so it was most likely a miscarriage, discharged me and told me to follow up with my doctor on Monday. I went to my doctor’s today and she looked up everything from Saturday evening and she said “wow with a hormone level that high they should have seen something” and she asked me if I was sure I could’ve only been 5 weeks and I told her yes because I did not have sex at all in February and only twice in March (that is when I conceived). She then checked my cervix and warned me that if it was open than chances of a miscarriage went up greatly. Well it was closed and she looked a bit surprised but in a good way. She then told me not to get my hopes too high that it still could have taken place and drew blood to see if my HCG levels had dropped or risen slightly since Saturday evening. So my question is has anyone gone through this and was my cervix being closed and HCG levels being high on Saturday a good sign? I will know for sure on Wednesday but I am just looking for anyone who has experience or has been through something similar. Thank you.

Before my Mirena expelled I was cramping. Within a week I had something that looked like a miscarriage come out. That was the first week of December. I tested positive Jan 3 and the 13th but my levels are almost undetectable. Just wondering if the positive result could have been residual from a possible miscarriage?
