Baby Daddy was born premature. is there a chance my baby will be premature because of that?

hi my husband was born premature and i was just wondering if this is genetic , does it mean there is a chance my baby will be premature or does it not have to do a thing with the father at all?

No. Also your more likely to have babies the way your mother did. My babys dads’ mom had all her kids premature. My baby was only two weeks early just like my mom.
No don’t worry about it usually when there is prematurity it is because of the mother such as incompetent cervix or any other problem with the mother’s body whih causes her to not be able to you know “hold” the baby much longer.This is not always true but most of the time this is the case.Unless there’s a problem with the baby and the doctors have to induce you then it’ll be a different story but their still inducing you nothing to do with the baby. I started dilating at 26 weeks of pregnancy and was hospitalized until 34 weeks when my baby girl was born. But they didn’t really knew the reason but at least everyhting was alright. I did have a lot of stress though so that could be it also. And also i had 2 miscarriages before so my pregnancies are high risk.Now i’m 26 weeks exactly again and im 2 cm dilated on bedrest that’s just how i am it’s me nothing to do with the baby so don’t worry you’ll be alright. God bless you! Oh and my mother had 3 perfect pregnancies and everybody in my mom’s side did too so i guess i’m just unlucky.
my baby’s dad was born 3 months premature I’m now coming up to 34 weeks and i was worried my midwife said it wont happen. every pregnancy is different x
